 THE STREETS have announced the dates for their North American tour, which will include six shows with DIZZEE RASCAL.
 
 Mike Skinner will head Stateside next month to give US fans a taste of his latest album, 'A Grand Don't Come For Free', the follow-up to 2002's 'Original Pirate Material.
 
 The next single expected to be released by The Streets in the UK will be 'Dry Your Eyes'.
 
 It follows the top four success of the first track to be lifted from the new LP, 'Fit But You Know It'.

Roots Manuva and Fallacy are probably the best in the UK hip-hop scene. The Streets and Dizzee are UKG.

have to say though, I'm a bit surprised that Dizzee Rascal is listed as the opener.. I feel like at least as many people know him over here  whereas the Streets have been pretty lowkey. I would have thought they would have an equal billing.

i was caught off guard by that too. i saw them listed on the "just announced" and thought it was just an early listing and wouldn't be for sale thursday. but i trotted over to the club after work that night and picked them up.
 
 and yes, i agree that dizzee is more well known in the mainstream than the streets.
 
 should be an interesting crowd mix.
