If the lot is full for a show, where is a good place to park near the club?

It depends how early you get there.  If you go early enough, there should be street parking with a few blocks in any direction of the club.  Although, if you're later, it might be more difficult.

Thanks for the suggestions....I am only asking because I am coming from PA for the Tues MMJ show and have never been faced with not getting into the lot at 9:30, but I think the lot is already sold out, so I didn't know where else was a good place. I remember parking with a friend in a near by alley and having trash all over the car and glass bottles lying underneath the tires...so, hopefully I can make it down there by 7.

 Thanks again

i would suggest parking west of the club in the little neighborhood bordered by florida, 13th, and U ... i usually find plenty of parking on W street and have never had a problem with a car ... alleys probably aren't the best idea

You can generally find parking on Georgia Ave in front of the Howard University Hospital after 6pm.

And do yourself a favor and leave nothing in plain sight, and if you're going to "hide" things in the trunk, put them in there before you get there.

Very sage advice.  Especially about putting things in the trunk before you park.  Nothing is worse than "Hey can I put my purse in the trunk but first let me get some money out".  That is just asking for a breakin.
