Here is our poster for The Black Lips show at The Black Cat this Saturday. You can see details and such at our site, El Jefe Design,  and for the first week, with each poster purchase, five dollars will go to the ACLU.

Why we are donating money to a free speech organization:
It seems this poster made a particular person unhappy. This person, lets call him Bill, did not like our poster (which is fine by us) but he decided to use his status as a lawyer to try to intimidate our firm and The Black Cat. He claimed he was an "attorney representing Native American Tribes around the country" and they did not like the poster and wanted action taken against us. The Black Cat, not wanting any type of negative criticism due to their sensitive position in the community, decided it would be best to take the poster down but support me with my endeavors. Being a true lefty-type, I attempted a dialogue to figure out why the poster is offensive but only got back "I will say it is clear to me that we won't be able to have a dialogue on this. You can take my complaint however you'd like." It also came to light that though Bill was a lawyer he was not representing a firm nor was he representing Native American tribes around the country. It appalled me that someone would imply legal action and use a firm's reputation to pursue a personal agenda especially when they could not back it up by stating the problems.

Yes, we recognize that the poster is provocative and is not for everyone but then again, the song "Navajo" by The Black Lips is not for everyone. Thanks.
