Who else went? Consider yourself very, very lucky! (10x)

Too bad the Black Cat wasn't even half full.

well, they broke up a couple of times, right?  and i think the first was because enigk got way too christian on them ... and they really just morphed into The Fire Theft, (3 core members of SDRE), their one s/t album sounds a lot like the progged-out later-SDRE ... love the Fire Theft ...

well, the first time was supposedly because Enigk went Christian, but that was kind of denied by Enigk, and the others.

then, they ditched Sub-Pop and joined some new label that folded, and that was that...

is the other guy still in the Foo Fighters?

but my point is that The Fire Theft are essentially SDRE-redux ... same core members, same later-day SDRE sound, you should have seen their black cat show a while back with Secret Machines opening ... couldn't have been more than 1/3-1/2 full, great set, sounded really professional

and yeah, i think the whole rhythm section of SDRE/FireTheft are in Foos, right?

and i think its just the bassist. William Goldsmith was only with the Foos for thier first album or two.
