eMusic Best of 2006 Ballot
« on: November 28, 2006, 11:58:00 am »
Just received my best of 2006 emusic ballot.  Here is what I voted for:
 1.  Sunset Rubdown - Shut Up I Am Dreaming
 2.  Islands - Return to the Sea
 3.   The Blood Brothers - Young Machetes
 4.  Yo La Tengo - I Am Not Afraid Of You And I Will Beat Your Ass
 5.  Tapes 'N Tapes - The Loon

how about you other emusic users?  on a side note, how great is the feeling when an album you want to get has, say, 13 tracks, and you have exactly 13 downloads left.  pure emusic bliss.

ugh trying to figure out what the best eMusic downloads this year is such pain, and i've decided to limit this to just downloads and not include acquired CDs.

Anyone downloaded The Victorian English Gentlemens Club yet?  Who are of course Welsh and has two females in the band.   I saw them referred to being similar to McClusky which is apt..

Question to the eMusic subscribers on this board: is it worth it?  How does the range of options compare to iTunes?

I think I'm ready to sign up, but I vaguely recall that people get some kind of benefit for "referral"...any truth to that?  If so, anyone wanna step forward?

 Thanks!
