Relocating to Towson

Any suggestions on great places to live in the Towson and surrounding areas?  I'm 27 and want to live in a place with people of the similar age.  I'm single and I have a dog (chocolate lab).  I want to rent.  Moving with a dog is tough because of lease restrictions.  Any good recommendations?  Thanks!

You're 27?  How about anywhere but Towson.  Have you looked at Canton, in Baltimore?  Eak, Towson is half students, half extremely wealthy suburbanites.

well, Canton is a bunch of assholes, so i wouldnt want to move there. plus its past its rebuilding phase so its SUPER expensive.
 
 Towson may be a little young for someone whos 27. I would look downtown.  Mt. Vernon, Charles Village, or Federal Hill are all cheaper than Canton and are younger areas of town.
 
 If you are buying a house, i would look to Federal Hill, property is about to double in value over there.

If you are looking to buy a wee bit cheaper than Federal Hill, try greater Hampden.  Can't beat a short walk to Frazier's on the Avenue or Atomic Books.
