Annapolis eateries

WE're going to a show tomorrow night in Annapolis. I can count on one hand the number of times I've been there in my 10+ years in the area. Anyone have any recommendations for moderately priced, sit down, vegetarian friendly eating establishments in the downtown area?

Chevy's?

FYI, I feel sorry for any housepets out there who have to eat the kibble that comes from WHOLE FOODS.

Ego Alley. 3 or 4 vegetarian dishes, island atmosphere, laid back attitude, ample seating, and a 10 minute walk from where I'm assuming you're going, Ramshead...

Doesn't Ramshead serve grub?

Yes, they do...but they're pretty meat-centric. For some reason I equate Rams Head with the Birchmere (do same people run it?). If that is the case, we know that would equate to mediocre, overpriced food.

When you say vegetarian, do you mean full on vegan or ovo-lacto or fake-vegetarian-who-still-eats-fish?

Regardless, Did a quick search on the VRG website (http://www.vrg.org)
and this is what it came up with.

 India's Restaurant
257 West St., Annapolis, MD, 21401
 (410) 263-7900

Indian. Located in Annapolis' historic district and known for its relaxed, elegant fine dining, India's offers a menu of vegetarian specialties. Entrées include Malai Kofta (mixed vegetable balls cooked in onion and tomato sauce) and Bayngan Bhurta (whole eggplants cooked on skewers, chopped, then mixed with tomatoes, onions, and spices). Reservations recommended.  Open daily for lunch and dinner.

 Mexican Café
975 Bay Ridge Rd., Annapolis, MD, 21403
 (410) 626-1520

Mexican. The Mexican Café offers several vegetarian options, and their beans do not contain lard. Open daily for lunch and dinner.

 Potato Valley Café
 47 State Cir., #100, Annapolis, MD, 21401
 (410) 267-0902

This café offers gourmet stuffed potatoes, as well as sandwiches and salads. Their "South of the Valley" potato includes beans, papaya, corn, lime, cilantro, peppers, and garlic butter.  Open Monday through Saturday for lunch and dinner. Closed Sunday.

 Sun & Earth Foods
1933 West St., Annapolis, MD, 21401
 (410) 266-6862

This natural foods store features vegetarian sandwiches and organic produce.  Open Monday through Saturday for breakfast through early dinner. Open Sunday for brunch.

Thanks. This list may prove to be very helpful.

I've been a full on vegetarian for 5-6 years, though lately I've been eating the very occasional fish dish cooked by my wife.
