East Coast Music Festivals - The Ultra Indie Edtion
« on: August 15, 2006, 07:54:00 pm »
There are a number of smaller scale music festivals going on that I'd like to share with you as I know others too probably know of a few. I figured rather than making a lot of annoying indivual threads or letting these get lost in the Just Announced thread, I'd start one just for the little guys.

Let's save this thread for the smaller scale festivals that don't get all of the hype and let the biggies have their own threads.      ;)

(I was going to post a poster with this one but some of the bands have changed since then. If a more updated one comes along, I'll post it.)

If you have any questions or concerns about any of the ones I've posted today, I have connections with all of them so could probably help you out.

Apparently not. They'll be on the West Coast at that time.

You know, it's seems that I too had seen them listed at one point. Maybe they cancelled out so they could tour out West.

You ought to list your festival in here too.   ;)

Sure, absolutely it does!

I was just trying to be cute with my title. Should have left off the 'East Coast' portion so we can include smaller music festivals anywhere but we can do that anyway as we go along. I just thought that this would make for a nice 'go to' thread for us to help keep things a bit more organized. Let the Lalapolooza's, Virgins, Coachellas, SXSW and other really big festivals have their own threads since they are so large and well known. Even if we highlight any of the smaller ones with their own threads, it would be a good idea to include them in here too.   ;)

How about some singer-songwriter types?

Will Travis Morrison be doing an all gospel set?

No, he won't be. And yes, we are working on some bands up your alley Rhett, though I think you would probably like Decibully.
