I saw that film in the movie theatre 14 times over the course of 7 days when it first came out back in 197?...it completely ruined Pink Floyd for me.
 
 I was collecting money for charity, and it was back in the day when there was always a support movie on first so we had to go up and down the aisles with the collection box before the main film started.....Live at Pompeii.

If you think the Philly Live8 is weak, check out Rome.  Are you kidding me?  How the hell did EVERYONE end up near London for that date? Still trolling cyberspace for an access pass...no "hits" yet.

From what I can figure out on eBay, the last bid for two tickets to London Live8 is a bit over $18,000.00 for two...and apparently, ole Bob and company think they've figured out how to flag sold tickets from on-site auctions so they'll deny access.  What a load...I think there was an opportunity for the Brit. gov't to encourage a bit of US tourism in what they think will be a slow summer due to exchange rates, but I can find NO hotel with a 'package' deal - even one right across the street from Hyde Park; I even thought Virgin Atlantic would show a little creativity...even contributing a few bucks to the "One" campaign from each sale or something, but NOOOOOOO.?? Makes good 'ole American entrepeneurship (or scam skills) look damned unique!!!
