i have a dream . . . and i missed you brian

last night i went to a local bar (interesting) and saw a local band (just as interesting, but still a great band).  i drank my beer in a bottle, because i never trust local bar draft lines, and went home (of course after waiting a complimentary two hours of no alcohol and soda/water only).  then i go to sleep.  once, when i was younger and under the influence of an unmentionable cowfield product and then trying to fall asleep, i had a similiar experience.

there was a giant, rectangular key made completely out of electricity (like something out of tron, if tron was released today and done by a team of japenese directors) hovering in the sky above me, and it was my mission to stop this key from lining up with nuevo york.  if it did line up and lock itself in, then something "bad" would happen.  i tried my absolute hardest, but it fought my every effort fierce.  everything was in timed frames of coming and going motion that seemed to be happening as a sped up slide show.  my partner said i was emitting heat in my sleep that he didn't think was possible for a human and sweating buckets for half an hour straight.

i like dreams that stand the chance of being nothing more than prophetic illusions like that, or the predictions that makes arsenio go "hmm?" but now i can't get the ramones "somebody put something in my drink" out of my head.

and i would like brian to be my "my buddy" doll from the eighties.  they were so creepy.

 have a sparkling day.

i saw moe. at the club, and i must say that the staff at 930 are nice people and work their ass off.  just saying.

Awww...I missed you too, walkonby.  Hopefully, you used your time away from this message board to relax and hopefully gain some rest and clarity.  It's the same motley crew that were here when you left.

Actually, quite a few people miss me when we're separated.  Don't fight it.

 Brian

P.S.  The only thing that's changed is now Miss Pretentious is into roller hockey and she looks like the girl in Juno.
