I'm sure many will agree with me that like the subject title changing hysteria of the past.  That the name display name changing silliness is getting a very tiring.

Well, I find it a bit annoying, though I will likely get smeared as I did it that once, going from Bagster to Bags...so that whole pot calling the kettle crap will probaby come up.  I stand by the fact that you still knew who I was after the change.

A year ago, I never knew who was whom when all the switching went on.  I'm more familiar now, but also don't care really about keeping track.  Eventually someone will call "Ball bags" Mankie and it's all clear (or he'll mention Beautiful South, and I'll know right away...)

I know, Mank -- didn't mean to pick on you, but you came to mind because (1) you used my name, and (2) because you never change, I had no idea who you were for a while.

I think it's funny and most of the content on the board is "tiring."

personally changing the dispalyed name is fine me because it doesn't wed a user to that once orginial or "clever" screen name that they maybe bored with now.  however like all good things which can amuse some with eventually annoy others.  moderation is always a good thing.

Name changing doesn't bother me, but remember when some of you (and you know who you are) changed your names to match other users and made bogus posts...that pissed me off big time.

Oooh, that's so wrong.  You can't do that, though, can you?  You can't even re-use a name you've already used yourself, except for your sign-in name...

Here are two incomplete sentences. Did you attend DC public schools?

The name changing doesn't bother me at all. Sure, it's a bit challenging at times, but it makes life more interesting and sometimes fun.
