jesus the boys in green were lucky last night but I'll take it - top of the table with italy not to be sniffed at
finally watched this last night. pen was bullshit, but they had the look of scoring anyway. thought the offside goal for the republic should have stood, too. i kind of miss watching kevin doyle play in the prem, but they need steven ireland to end his exile. they dont have a guy in center midfield that adds much to the attack

well trappa the gaffa said yesterday he needs to decide sooner rather than later - if we qualify for the world cup without him he won't be in the squad
