Actually, I can only think of one, against Boro earlier this year, but that was because the ref was issuing a yellow card when Henry tried the quick kick.

I do remember him scoring a goal on a quick free kick against Villa in 04.  He said he asked the ref if he could take it, the ref said sure and he scored.  When asked about it, he said I tried my luck because it's happened against me all the time.

Thoughts on the Carling Cup Final....

Might be the best game I've seen this year.  Arsenal's future has me very concerned.  Thankfully, their sissy manager will still be there assuring the team will implode like we saw on Sunday.

Jorge Fabergas needs to grow up.  Quickly.  And he may want to mention to Van Persie to do the same thing.  Actually, the whole lot of them...

Arsenal took three quick free kicks, none of which were called back (once the ball never even stopped rolling and nearly led to a goal).

I thought John Terry's playing career was over when I saw him posturing after the kick to the head.  Amazing.

 FA Cup this week

 Tue.  Feb. 27

3pm Reading v Manchester United (FSC)

 Wed.  Feb. 28

 3pm Blackburn v Arsenal (FSC)

well we stumbled badly against France but Saturday against England was one of the most amazing sporting occasions I have ever witnessed - this photo pretty much sums it up

In rugby there's no sore losers...excuses...whinging.

Ireland are a far superior team than England right now, and probably any other team for that matter. I just hope you can stuff the spearing all blacks when you cross paths. Do it for 'Driso'

All England fans have to hold on to is that we are the world cup holders, although I hope they're keeping it nice and shiney for the next winners!!!
