http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2010/dec/08/newcastle-alan-pardew-fans-poll

I can understand firing Hughton to get a true "name" manager, but Pardew? Come on!

unreal. guess the news conference is starting in the next hour or so. have no idea what this is supposed to accomplish apart from make the club look crazy. again.

First order of business:

Selling Joey Barton

And Keegan was brutally honest in this piece.

look, they might sell joey barton, but that story is so ridiculous. newcastle wants 4xs what west ham is offering and the hammers want joe to take a pay cut. sounds like a done deal  ::)

after they get £20m for scott parker. amazing

harry harris is notoriously bad. what kind of name is that anyway

i agree with keegan for the most part though

Kevin "how's my perm look" Keegan was okay as far as a one-dimensional players go I suppose, but he's hardly an expert on managerial issues...he failed miserably then quit at every team he managed.

The article hardly breaks ground - any dufus knows Ashley is a moron. I wonder were Hughton will end up though, because I don't expect him to be short on offers. Wilkinsons replacement at Stamford Bridge perhaps???

hard to call his first stint with newcastle a miserable failure. second time i feel like he got too much slack from the toon army for his role in our demise

all along i kind of thought our skid was down to not having all of our best players available. newcastle united is just a thin, thin team and that has nothing to do with management

we need soccer to be huge in our country.  i'm tired of our so called sports with their non riots based on people's hatred of another due to where they live.  we need hundreds injured and dead after the cowboys play the redskins.  now that's a sport.
