If the referee wanted Barcelona to go to the final when facing Chelsea two years ago, he would have never shown that red card to Abidal, not only it was not for a red card, but he also left Barcelona a miracle as the the only possibility. I believe the referee did a poor job, but not that he started the game with the idea in his mind that Barcelona had to pass to the final no matter what.

anyhow, already nervous for tomorrow. in case we make it to the final, the defeat yesterday with arsenal will make ManU have to play at their best with Chelsea on the weekend.

A great weekend for Arsenal fans everywhere....except for one in Northern Pakistan.

John Terry wanted to thank every Arsenal player personally, but there's no way they were letting him anywhere near their wags...

Third final in four years.  SAF has figured something out in Europe....

But for Rafael going forward against Munich when he shouldn't have been, very well could have been four straight.

A quid a ticket still keeps United well within the average range.....well below Arse, Chelski, Spurs, West Ham, and on a par with Stoke, Fulham and Shitty. The only teams with tickets available for less than OT are Birmingham and West Brom.

Not too shabby eh?

The title was pretty much won with 3 games (-36 seconds) left!!!  ;D

Are we REALLY that good or did both Shalke and Chelski just not show up for the games?

BTW - I never EVER want to hear how United own refs. Lampards handball was a penalty, and there was the other one when Valencia was brought down. IMO though, Howard Webb is the finest there is so not accusing him of any shennanigans. On the spur of the moment you need to be 100% certain to make the call, and it was only after the replay I saw it actually touched fat Franks arm. I'm sure the problem for the ref and AR was the ball didn't change direction after hitting his arm. Had that non-call been a game changer though it would be a nightmare after last season when Drogbas offside goal gifted chelski the title.

A few of my favorite quotes from yesterday:

"Can Scousers even count to 19?"

"I'm just happy Michael Owen finally chose the right team to win a title."

"I'm so happy right now I'm not even going to mind going over to my mother in laws for the afternoon"

"Sell him!" after Chicharito missed the wide open goal in the final minutes
