Don't know anything about Cedars but Dirty on Purpose were disappointing when I saw them at Siren Festival..but I do love their record.

I have heard good things about Dirty on Purpose...a buzz is gathering with them.
 
 Looking forward to hearing Cedars again, I missed some of their last show w/Editors at the 9:30.  I heard a new song on WOXY the other day again, "Century" very solid.  Not a bad line-up for a Tues evening.

I saw (or thought I saw) Dirty On Purpose at DC9 a few months ago.  I can't remember who they were playing with, but I really liked it and bought a CD (the one with the rabbit on it) -- but when I listened to it, all the songs had what sounded like female vocals, and it sounded nothing like their live set at all.
 
 I was confused and a little pissed ... did they recently "change formats" or something?

They played with us, actually.  I was surprised, because I had their CD, and was expecting something quite different than what I got when I saw them perform...I don't really know what the story is with this though...
 
 And I will be at the show tomorrow.  Looking forward to it.

The website says 9pm... but there's only 2 bands playing so I would guess 9:30 or 10pm... I think the usual protocol is half hour after doors open no?? but not sure how it changes depending if there's 2 or 3 bands playing...
