I'm sure they get a lot of press in the European polka rags.

i will be running around like a madman trying to make sure everyone gets into this show...90% chance it will sell out, so get there early if you can.

the beirut album is really quite good, though i wonder why the same people who are excited about this have no interest in black ox orkestar.

i figured that was the case ... but i wasn't sure how well your brain was working lately, given your performance over in the fantasy baseball league.

Ouch.

Three leagues is one too many for me.  I'm winning the other two, but you're right, I can't do anyhting right in this league.  Looks like I'm going to owe you two beers pretty soon.

I just drove by Warehouse and the line was around the block. I was going to try but quickly did the math, most of those people weren't getting in. Ah well, hopefully next time.

It was well worth the two hour wait in line. Loved the set by Beirut (not as into Get Him Eat Him). There's something about the combination of two horns, ukeleles, an accordian and other various instruments that charms the soul. (Also, that guy has a great voice.) A truly intimate show. I got some good pictures and will post them later tonight. Thanks for putting on the show, Snailhook!

Holy crap - two hour wait in line?? Were they doing strip searches? I was thinking of going but glad I didn't. I assume there wasn't any way to buy tix in advance so you HAD to wait in line. Ick...
