I thought for a sold out show it was very quiet. My guess is that Stars and BSS do not entirely share a fanbase, despite sharing members

What would you say the average age was? I would say 20-25.

I for one, was very impressed with BSS. Clearly these are some talented folks. Perhaps 4 guitars was a little too much, but they were all so full of energy, and obviously quite happy to be there. I thought Stars were good too, and I was completely unaffected by the lead singer's whine. Oh well, to each his own... much happier to listen to BSS now that I've seen them live.

I had a friend who showed up needing a ticket, and he left after 20 minutes, but I don't think he tried hard enough.  I went outside looking for him and asked all those kids, "hey, so are you all looking for tickets?"  And not a one of them was; they were waiting to meet up with friends.  Lot of folks just hanging around outside, though...

My wife saw a couple who looked like they needed the two extra tickets we had, so she approached them and asked. Sold them for $15 each (which was the day of show price anyway).

It's soweird how people's perceptions are so different despite having stood next to each other and witnessed the same things for three hours.

I think there were lots of folks in their 20's. But that shouldn't be surprising since BSS is one of the those bands suddenly becoming hip.

I didn't find the crowd inordinately young....And loved the flippy dancy girl with her arms all over the place.  UNTIL she moved a little too close!     ;)

Did any of you notice that she was there with two other girls, all three of whom were wearing black shirts with only one shoulder strap and sleeveless on the other?

I'd say it wasn't so much younger as a different crowd.  Sightings include at least two pair of birkenstocks on men (!) and a whole host of conservative "it's a club, right?" sort of get-ups.

I wish I had sold my ticket, as I stood in line I debated getting rid of it several times.  Instead I went in as Dears ended, was rather bored by Stars, and left before BSS.  But it was nice to see those who I saw and to talk to Sparks again.

I had a spare ticket for some show at the 930 a little while ago and offered it (for free) to a couple of girls waiting in line for tickets...they wouldn't take it though. What's up with that? I'm not that scary looking am I?

I think folks get afraid that it may be a fake... as much as it sucks paying money for a fake ticket, it can suck just as much getting caught with one, no matter where you got it from.  as in, plan on talking to the cops.

At the sold-out Joe Jackson show a while back someone taped a few tickets to the wall near the ticket window and put up a sign that said "FREE".  I'm sure they went eventually, but they were up there for quite a while.

I remember that...unfortunately the tickets went up awfully late, so folks looking for tickets either got one or moved on, most likely.

I couldn't get rid of two tickets to the Mighty Wind for the life of me.  Even though the shows sold out really fast.  I think that was the kind of show that doesn't have an audience that would just 'try to scalp' without having a ticket.

If I were a girl and a 45-year old foreign, goateed car-salesman approached me offering free tickets, I'd run away.
