It has me hoping that the Foo Fighters show gets to us in September and has a shot at Merriweather rather than Patriot Center!!

Anybody see them last time they came to the DC-area? Were they any good?

Yeah I saw them at the Smith Center and while it was not without it's moments I thought it was lacking.  The Detroit Cobras later that night at Iota were much better

i dunno it's the best large rock n' roll venue in the area... as opposed to DAR,etc.  Get Pit tickets it will be like seeing them at the club.  plus, i heard theres this little club on the grounds where awesome djs spin before the headliner comes on...

plus two dc dates were floated for them... which could mean that they do two shows at MPP and only sell pavallion seats, meaning a less traffic heading up 95

wow, i'm not a huge white stripes fan, but those two openers would be crazy
