At the last game some little Flyer kids that were bugging Slapshot on the concourse.

They were shouting at him, "The Capitals stink!". While Mom & Pop Flyer were standing proudly nearby.

I had to intervene. "Hey Kids! There is no  real Santa! And you were all adopted!. Ask mommy where babies come from!"

Dad jumped in to herd the ankle-biters away.

The only satisfaction in the game.

Ah...Caps fans learning to be low-class from the lowest-class fans in all of sports: Filthadelphia fans.  That was a heartwarming story.

Rangers are going to hold the Caps down and stomp their guts out tonight!   :D

You mean just like they did with Ottowa the other night?

Looking at the rosters of the teams in the NHL...the Rangers are without a doubt the leagues biggest under-achievers, and have been for what???The last SIX seasons?

Thanks Dupek. Looks like you found a Valentines gift for my wife. Don't tell her. No way would she be reading a hockey thread. She thinks they're all a bunch of goons.

A woman brought a very limp duck into a veterinary surgery. As she lay her pet on the table, the vet pulled out his stethoscope and listened to the bird's chest.

After a moment or two, the vet shook his head sadly and said, "I'm so sorry, Cuddles has passed away."

The distressed owner wailed, "Are you sure?

"Yes, I am sure. The duck is dead," he replied.

"How can you be so sure," she protested. "I mean, you haven't done any testing on him or anything. He might just be in a coma or something."

The vet rolled his eyes , turned around and left the room, and returned a few moments later with a black Labrador Retriever.

As the duck's owner looked on in amazement, the dog stood on his hind legs, put his front paws on the examination table and sniffed the duck from top tobottom. He then looked at the vet with sad eyes and shook his head.

The vet patted the dog and took it out, and returned a few moments later with a beautiful cat.

The cat jumped up on the table and also sniffed delicately at the bird. The cat sat back on its haunches, shook its head, meowed softly and strolled outof the room.

The vet looked at the woman and said, "I'm sorry, but as I said, this is most definitely, 100% certifiably, a dead duck."

Then the vet turned to his computer terminal, hit a few keys and produced abill which he handed to the woman.

The duck's owner, still in shock, took the bill.

"$150!", she cried, "$150 just to tell me my duck is dead?!!"

The vet shrugged. "I'm sorry. If you'd taken my word for it, the bill would have been $20, but what with the Lab Report and the Cat Scan ....."

...  A duck walks into a feed store and asks,
 "Got any duck feed?"
The clerk tells him, "No, we don't have a market for it so we don't carry it."
The duck says, "Okay," and leaves.
The next day, the duck again walks in to the feed store and asks, "Got any duck feed?" Again the clerk says no and the duck leaves.
Next day, the duck once again walks in, and asks, "Got any duck feed?" The clerk says, "I've told you twice, we don't have duck feed, we've never had duck feed and we never will have duck feed. If you ask me again, I'll nail your feet to the floor." The duck leaves.
The next day, the duck walks in and asks, "Got any nails?"
 "No."
 "Got any duck feed?"

A lady walks into the vets office with her pet  duck, "I think my duck needs his his claws clipped he's scratching up the kitchen floor."
The vet takes the duck from her to take a look, "I'll have to put the duck down" "You have to put the duck down because he needs his claws clipped?" "No, he's heavy"
