The point is a) you don't know how old he or she might be, and b) that the impact of the Bush fiscal policy has much more direct, dire implications for people who are on the cusp of retirement than it does for those people who are recently out of college, and finally, c) that it might be worthwhile to think how things might impact somebody other than yourself.

i'm 46 and while not close to retirement age, i am hoping for an early retirement offer and it pisses me off to no end...
 
 and you really can' blame livenation for the price  of concert tickets, seeing as it's artists that are the ones demanding to be paid more.

we're living in an INFORMATION economy.  billions are being generated because of the internet.  damn straight i expect my leaders to have a vague understanding of how information flows.  
 
 this is a huge indictment of mccain.  then again, lack of knowledge and general cluelessness wasn't an impediment to bush being elected, and i'll readily admit that mccain is more on the ball than hee-haw.
