surprised about Miami though

people, still care about pot?  i find the whole topic of it, to be finally fucking boring and blasé . . . and people who have had such huge problems with it over the past 30 years are still, assholes.

Even where it's legal, people care a lot about pot.  The recent CA wildfires set two records - one for the largest amount of pot burnt and one for the largest amount on US paper money ever burned.  So long as the Feds continue to categorize it as a Schedule 1 drug, prohibiting growers from using the banking system, it remains a cash business and is very vulnerable to theft and natural disasters.  And they are prohibited from purchasing crop insurance and the federal scheme.

This month, the federal Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau, aka the TTB, mailed cease-and-desist letters to Invasive Species Brewing in Fort Lauderdale and Devour Brewing in Boynton Beach. The letters, which arrived last week and Monday, block sales of any craft beer infused with cannabis terpenes oil that the federal agency hasn’t approved.

In other beer-bud related news
This craft brewery made a ‘Breaking Bad’-themed beer. Now, Sony is suing.

also, was talking with someone from three stars about Stardust and lupulin powder (he said the goal is zero IBU!)
and he was telling the people how it was concentrated hop oil

So I responded..."so kinda like shatter"
his was like "no it's more like Keef, but the problem is not everyone gets that metaphor"

nice to here businesses are finally coming around considering more than half the states now allow some form of use More businesses are mellowing out over hiring pot smokers

Maine, which also legalized the drug, became the first state to bar companies from firing or refusing to hire someone for using marijuana outside work.

My company recently changed our drug panel to a five-panel that excludes THC testing. The company that sold it to us referred to it as the "modern workplace panel".
