I really dont at all...He has a lot of songs that I really like, but most that I really dont care for.  "So Alive" is absolutely brilliant...

His main problem as far as i can see is quality control....Dude just craps out albums.  Hed be taken more seriously if he held some of them back...

Actually out of town this weekend...Otherwise I probably would.  Ive got a full slate of shows coming up that Ill be going to...

Ryan Adams hasn't crapped out anything good since his first solo album. Even listening to that one, you have to hold your nose and ignore what a self-absorbed little twerp he is.

Are you referring to that Tom York guy?

If you are referring to moi, I take credit for sometimes being an asshole, but I don't think I'm any more self-absorbed than the next guy. And at 181 pounds, I'm certainly not a little twerp.

Narcissist comes to mind moreso than little twerp.  But hey, what the f**k do I know?  I'm sure that you're a nice guy when that keyboard isn't in front of you.    ;)

M83 is the best thing going right now in electronic music (well, maybe i could've said that when their first LP came out, i'm not sure i can now) ... it's like a my bloody valentine album -- probably the most over-used comparison, but apt here -- filtered through left-field house music, really top-notch stuff

and wanting to see ryan adams infers that you're gay. flaming cher gay. gay gay gay.

hilarious.

their debut LP (dead cities, red seas & lost ghosts) was the freshest thing i'd heard in a looooong time ... and while i don't listen to "progressive trance"  while sucking on a pacifier, i do listen to (and keep up with) electronic music

i'd venture to guess there would be others who'd agree with me about M83.

so thats your two comparisons? M83 and Paul Oakenfold?   I dont think there's anything wrong with M83, i am listening to a song of thiers as i type, but certainly not the best.  I suppose Air is a runner-up.

Ok, lets say "M83 is the best non-underground electronic music out there right now"

although, with Four Tet, UNKLE and Autechre still out there, I wouldnt even say that.

and thats just the commercial stuff....
