Morrissey, PJ Harvey and Basement Jaxx will perform at this year's Glastonbury Festival, alongside Sir Paul McCartney, Oasis and the English National Opera.
The full line-up has been confirmed for the 25-27 June festival, at Worthy Farm in Somerset.

Surprise additions this year include 1970s disco act Sister Sledge and soul veteran James Brown.

Oasis, Sir Paul and Muse will headline the main Pyramid stage on Friday, Saturday and Sunday respectively.

 Orchestra

The English National Opera will perform part of Wagner's Ring Cycle with a 90-piece orchestra on the final day.

Oasis will follow Kings of Leon, PJ Harvey and Groove Armada on Friday, while the Chemical Brothers, DJ Dave Clarke and the Levellers head other stages.

Basement Jaxx, Zero 7 and Hothouse Flowers are among headliners in the festival's nine performance areas on Saturday.

Indie rock act Muse will follow Morrissey on Sunday 27 June
Morrissey will precede Muse on Sunday, when dance duo Orbital will give their final performance before splitting up after 15 years.

Franz Ferdinand, Scissor Sisters, Goldfrapp, Snow Patrol, Chicks on Speed and GoldieLookinChain also feature among the hundreds of confirmed performers.

All 112,000 tickets to the festival were thought to have been sold within a day when originally released in April.

Selling for £112 each, tickets were limited to two per person.

However, an extra batch was subsequently made available after some fans originally ordered too many.

why must everyone spell stellastarr* wrong?  that's two "r"s, you!

anywho... i've always wanted to go, meant to this year, but Coachella trumped it.  that and it's so BIG i get confused... all that purple area green area blah blah blah.  what they need is to tear down the farm it's on, pave the whole thing, and then put in directional signs.

Glastonbury is definitely the best festival (line-up wise) there is.  In fact, if me and the lady ever get married, she wants to go there as part of our honeymoon.  110,000 crazy Brits, how romantic!
