I saw the Pixies back in 1989, and managed to enjoy myself quite a bit, even without an "adult beverage".

A show without booze is like a show without the faint stench of marijuana, the "woo" girl, the Freebird guy, or the faux encore.   I'd rather stay home than be deprived of these concert staples.

I'll gladly take your ticket.

It sounds like you are big on cliches.

And I will gladly sell you my ticket well above face value.  It's another cliche I cherish.

Here's a new LA Weekly story about the Pixies, I don't think anyone has posted this yet.

The author saw them at the old club in 89...perhaps they spilt their alcoholic
 beverage on Rhett...

Now that I am currently living in South America, I decided to see the Pixies in Brazil. I got a ticket for the Curitiba Pop Festival next weekend. Pixies and Teenage Fanclub.

Constitution Hall is easily one of the worst places ever to see a rock concert.  Why the hell aren't the Pixies coming to 9:30? This news blows.

It's just that I am not Mexican, but if you want i will celebrate it.

edit: I don't celebrate the Spanish or Catalan national day. I hate national pride.
