Maybe they just want some time off to do some sightseeing and Holiday shopping in NYC.

Or maybe there's an unannounced show in Philly, Boston, or some other non-local venue.

I figured the same. Or, they will make an appearance on Letterman or something.

ditto.  That was soooooo good.

Now,  back to the Pixies.  The question is, since most of us did end up getting tickets for the show on the 8th, who's still going to the 7th show in the "forum section"?

Just looked at it, so...because its Section D its automatically assumed that it was purchased by a board member?  Also, the tickets are at $93 so being that a pair was 92.80 after all charges it looks like they stand to make a tidy 20 cent profit before ebay takes their cut, cant see anything to get excited over.

This is a matter of principle Hunter, not profit. Setting up these presales is very time-consuming, and there already were other presales associated with this event that needed to be dealt with. Seth and box office staff went to a considerable amount of trouble to provide something special for the regular Forum members so they could all see the show together, and most people genuinely seemed to appreciate that effort.  I don't think it's cool that someone decided to profit from this goodwill gesture.
