I would just park on the east side of the White House somewhere, like on E Street or 15th Street or somewhere like that, and just walk a few extra blocks.  Most of the doofuses driving in from the burbs never think about doing that.

So I know the doors open at 6:30 but what time does the show actually start?  I need time to go home and change out of my yuppie clothes so people won't think I'm a poser.

The question is how many forumites will actually be in their seats prior to the Pixies hitting the stage and where should we all congregate in the hallway high school style... seeing as i'm driving down i'll be there earlier rather than later in order to secure a parking spot.

knowing what i witnessed at coachella 7 months ago...and knowing i'm gonna see it again tonight, only twice as long, and two nights in a row...

 i can't fucking wait.

so who's gonna be there?  Or should that be (or is it already) a separate "roll call" thread?

I'd see if Eddie can give you a run down on the schedule. Last time I went to DAR, doors were to open at 6:30. They didn't open until 7:30. (Headliner went on at 8:30 and the main act didn't go on until well after 9:30) Needless to say, I wish I had asked Eddie.

A lot of people probably won't like the Datsuns, but I think they rock. The Bennies are entertaining as well...I haven't seen TV on the Radio yet though. Damn, I am SO excited about these shows. Lily, where are your seats tonight?

how long will the pixies set be? 1.5 hours? is that what they have been averaging during this tour?
