Now here is where I could have helped him.  If I were Gwen, after breaking up with Gavin Rossdale and marrying me, I would have told him to do the acoustic version of "Every Little Thing.." like Sting did on his live DVD from Tuscany on the day of 9/11.  It's an amzing version, most people haven't heard it and it would have been perfect for his voice.  He would have won kudos for the arrangement, sounded a lot better and probably would have been the talked about performance.

Instead he did that trainwreck version where he couldn't keep up with a band that couldn't do the Police any justice.  Couldn't agree more that it was awful last night, which is too bad because I like him.

I can't believe that you uber-indie snobs are having a discussion about something that is nothing more than a Karoke contest.

That show is typical of everything that is wrong with television today.

I'm a huge roller derby fan. I go to every bout, drink beer (PBR or Blue Moon) and scream my ass off in the bleacher section for my favorite team.

I watch "America's Next Top Model."

Unless you live out where you need to 4x4 or haul big stuff around, I don't know why people have them.  Oh yeah, to feel higher than the rest of us, and safer while creating a much less safe driving environment for the rest of us.
wait, this whole escalade thing is a big joke?

When it comes down to making out, whenever possible, I put on side one of Good Charlotte's The Young and the Hopeless.

Joe Marshmallow III, your wish came true, Chris was voted off with great reason.  I disagree with the comment that American Idol is just a bunch of Karaokee singers, although I'm not a big fan of 90% of them, usually the best singers in the contest are better than almost all indie singers voices.  Even though their music might not be better, their voices are.  Lastly, I don't have an SUV, but I'm also not going to be jealous of those people because they have them. I don't think at all that they think they are HIGHER than us, maybe the people that think that acutally think they are LOWER than them.  Build up some confidence people.  Ok, done my rant for now, let the beatings begin, starting with Sonick I'm assuming.

Yes, yes it is.  Can't remember how it started --I think Rhett was mocking all the disposable income I must have since I go to so many shows.  And it may have been Markie or Lulu who said I had an Escalade -- 'cuz I needed something that big to throw my many dollars at, it was as wasteful as going to 50 shows a year, AND I needed it to drive around my posse of gay men.  The reaction on the board was priceless, so we had to go with it.
