Perhaps, if more people get in on this.
Because it has to be the last man/woman standing that wins...unless we are talking increments of time here...

Betty, we'll probably have to split this, $12.50 each; otherwise, this game may go on forever. I'm sick of winning this game yet, at the same time, I couldn't care less.

Kosmo must have had some Spring fever afternoon delight.    :D    Lucky dog!

Using the nose to type isn't as easy as one would think and those spiffy white jackets aren't nearly as comfy as they look on TV.  More later as the slot in the door just opened..

I mean...it's a bunch of message board guys.  And most of them are married, anyway.  How hard could it be?

Tell me about it. At least you have youth in your favor. But it is the DC area which is overloaded with halfway decent available women. Not much has changed since the days of "Mr. Smith Goes To Washington" except a lot of the women are giving it away like there's no tomorrow and a whole lot more of the men are Gay. Nothing against Gays at all but it sure doesn't help a single heterosexual woman who has no interest whatsoever in other women. I regard them as great friends but totally off the market and I'm not into trying to convert any. Then there is that side of me that I'm not sure whether it's because I'm too picky or just that disinterested anymore. Probably all of the above.

I'm with you.  I have no intention of winning, nor would I want to.

Don't blame you guys, if you've got what it takes and the urge. After all, there are people who pay to lose at this game.

Then again, there is something very delicious to be said about holding out for awhile providing you eventually get some worthwhile satisfaction.

Actually, I could get it easily enough if I wanted. There's this old boyfriend who keeps sniffing around but I'm through with his crap. Not.Even.Worth.It.

I wasn't even thinking that; I just have a really good will about this sort of stuff and am able to say no when I need to.

Thus, in a betting situation, I am off limits.  I won't go out.  Easy peasy.

Here's my follow-up...

Was planning on dusting off the "I'm Out" Senfield chestnut two weeks ago for those of you who couldn't join with me  to go without a Computer for a Saturday after Kosmette dared me.

I was going to announcing my participation in this social experiment   and also to encourage others to go computer less as well for a day.  But decided against as it would be akin to the hall monitor sneaking off to the library to read Mad magazine.  Who knows what would have happened with all those freed from detention hanging out with the mod away.

So here is what I was able on do on Shutdown Day...

I didn't watch digital cable, drive the car, listen to CDs, turned off the mobile phone.

Instead listened to NPR, worked on the Suduku in the paper, took a much needed nap, walked to the New Deal Cafe, a local eatery, run as a co-op for a mid afternoon snack, in the evening walked with Kosmette to the local movie theatre to see Ms. Potter.

Even Kosmette only used a computer for work purposes.  Neither of used an ATM

I'm considering turning this into a regular practice called Analog Weekends.

In the future I may allow myself to check email via the phone, but with plenty of records and video tapes on hand there is lots of non digitized sources of entertainment.
