I would so hitch up the scotchgard huff-i-nator if I was going, but unfortunately I'm not.  So I'll leave it up to you.

I've already eaten 12 percocets, 5 zolofts, and inhaled 7 cans of Pledge.  Plus, my nitrous balloons are filling up nicely here in the office...

ok...so it appears that no one is talking about this show.  it was only my second time seeing them but i thought it was pretty fantastic.  and, for the record, jesus was most definitely a cowboy and i'm sure he would have dug ween.  i'm sure too that he would have jumped on stage to dance with all the chicks during let me lick your p*&&y.

joz, i saw the show last night, too, though i work late and had to miss the first hour because they went on so early. it was my first time seeing ween, though i had been trying for ten years to see them (something always came up).

i gotta say that they were slightly disappointing, if only because their early '90s records set the bar so high. i was expecting more madness and dementia. it was definitely a good show, but not trascendent or anything. they played a few really killer psych jams and a couple of my favorites, but there was a lot of material that was just kind of medicore (at least for ween). the cover of "ace of spades" in the encore kicked ass, though.

did you see those two chicks making out on stage? looks like they had their 15 -- actually, rather like 5 -- minutes of fame.

ace of spades was also a highlight for me...i think you probably missed the better part of the show.  they played what deaner was talking about, spinal meningitis, and (my personal favorite) don't get too close to my fantasy.

are you kidding?!?

they played "don't get 2 close (2 my fantasy)"?!? that's my all-time favorite ween song! of course, they had to play it while i was furiously speeding from work to get to the show. figures.

it seems we share favorite wilco and ween songs, eh?

it appears so...i was really hoping for birthday boy off of god/ween/satan.  it was my friend's birthday last night too.  oh well.  apparently they never play that song live.

oh...and i forgot that they played 'going gets tough'. i love that song.

unfortunately, they've retired buenos tardes amigos.  last time i saw them at the 9:30 i was tripping balls and freaked out when they closed the show with that song.
