Where do you get your music?  Downloads, Amazon.com, used CD shops, ebay...where?
 
 What percentage comes from which source?

50% - best buy, circuit city, etc.
 40% - plan 9 (indie record store in richmond)
 8% - used CD stores
 2% - itunes

40% - independent record stores (Revolution Records)
 40% - Amazon.com
 10% - friends (music I wouldn't purchase otherwise)
 10% - Borders, Best Buy

 i havent bought anything anywhere else in over 2 years.........maybe one or two cds at a show.

I-Tunes.....got into the habit while mixing spinning cd's. It's great that you can burn a single track from an album so you can make your own compelations.

Just crunched the numbers and arrived at the following
 
 10% emusic
 20% Best Buy...mainly for 9.99 new releases
 30% Revolution Records
 8%  Direct from artist
 7%  At a show
 25% Burns from friends

I usually buy everything at Soundgarden in Fells Point.
 
 If they don't have something, I order it from Insound.  (this is rare)

I forgot about shows and direct from the artist. That's one of my favorite ways but not necessarily my highest percentage.
 
 Promos too.
 
 Can't break my percentages down at all because it varies so often.
