hey who isnt down for a trainwreck? but for about half the show blowfly was getting drowned out by his band and the ad libs that were audible had nowhere near the level of wit or vulgarity of his rec's from the 70's and 80's. more pg-13 than x-rated. i had a blowfly rapp dirty 12" (which said banned from radio on it) before owning any rap records. i was probably about 5 or 6 and it was the first time i ever heard profanity in a song so blowfly had a pretty damaging impact on my childhood. i guess my expectations for the show were just too high.
