Presale Passwords

The posting of presale passwords is frowned upon on this board.  If someone asks nice for it, people have been known to provide them via private message or email.

I will if the asking party is a board member and has posted before (no need for 5000 postings, but enough to show you didn't just join in order to get the presale info).  Just my own personal threshold...

Well, that was utterly ridiculous.  Presale was sold out in less than 5 minutes.  I sat here and was shuffled from a server timeout screen to the Boston Red Sox "Virtual Waiting Room."  Needless to say, though I had my password and credit card # at the ready when 4 PM rolled around, I never got anywhere near buying an actual ticket.  Boo to tickets.com for not being able to handle that many transactions at once.  And boo to everyone who did get tickets, who I'm now quite jealous of.

1. not posting presale passwords on this site is a great big pile of doo doo.
 2. not allowing people to buy tickets in a reasonable fashion is an even bigger load of doo doo.
 3. Down with doo doo

What would a reasonable fashion be?  Having folks camped out overnight to get tickets from the box office (and that is not a neighborhood I'd want to sleep on the street in overnight)?  There ain't no other way.

OK - I have a password and know what event I want to go to - how do I find out where to purchase the tix?  The show isn't listed anywhere that I can see.

Sorry, I'm new at this forum ---- but I need to get these tickets!

Here's a hint try signing up for the 9:30 club newsletter. Obviously too late for this show, but there are always killer shows at the 9:30 club. They gave out the presale password two days ago....I got my tickets at 1 minute after 4 today. No Sleep Till DC!!!!  :D
