That would be completely awesome.  I saw the Police on their last tour in the 80's and I've seen Sting a few times since.

All great shows.  Hope it's true.  Although I don't really relish the thought of seeing them at Fed Ex or RFK or any other stadium.

I've resigned myself to the fact that Pink Floyd is never getting back together, so this is pretty much te next best thing.  Cost doesn't matter.  To hear "So Lonely", and see Stuart Copeland (One of the most underrated and better drummers of all-time) live would be fuckin' priceless.  I'M IN!

hmmmmm....can't see why Sting would go for it, not like he needs the other two, or the money.

Back in 1977/78 I was in the Search and Rescue branch of the RAF and living in Plymouth, (UK) and one Sunday night we were bored so looked in the local paper for something to do....one of the lads piped up, "Hey, there's some band playing at the Ark Royal pub tonight, The Police...anyone ever heard of em?" "No" was the reply, so we just decided to go to the local boozer for a few quiet pints instead

...the rest, as they say, is history.

A few weeks later another somewhat unknown band was in concert at a local nightclub called "Castaways"...we decided to make the effort for that one. The band was called The Clash!!! (they had Richard Hell and the Voidoids and Stinky Toys as support bands as well)

It's gonna happen. Bonnaroo.

Seth is also going to have them at the 2nd Virgin Festival.  But Bonnaroo will get the first festival announcement.

Are you in New Year's prognosticator mode or do you know something the rest of us don't?

If y'all haven't seen "Rumble Fish" lately, it's worth seeing again just for Stu Copeland's soundtrack...
