if you're going to black cat tomorrow, be sure to get there early to check out runner and the thermodynamics
 
 they're classic rock throwbacks who play with a shitload of energy ... i haven't seen many drummers abuse a kit like theirs does ... i saw them at mercury lounge in nyc a year or so ago and by the end of the set the guy's kit was basically in shambles ... that said, i picked up their album and its kinda blah, definitely a live band ... really nice guys too

i'm there. should be a good old-school rock show. i'm actually interested in seein Nic Armstrong & the Thieves. saw a video of their's and i liked it...throwback to the british invasion.
