The Intelligence are at Comet tonight! How was this not mentioned until now? Fake Surfers is one of my favorite albums of the year and I sadly can't make it. Those of you into 60's-tinged irresistable lo-fi weird pop don't want to miss this.

Anyone go to Yo La Tengo last night?

I was there and thoroughly enjoyed the show. Really creative band. And let me just say that the staff at the 9:30 Club are definitely The Best. You know who you are. Thank you!

Now...anyone going to the Weakerthans show tomorrow? Friends who saw the show in Boston said that there are some good setlist changes that we should look forward to (bastard wouldn't be more specific). And they're still pulling someone from the crowd up to play a solo so all you guitarists should get in the front row.
