Another fantastic Feelies show.

Missed the first set.   Many "good earth" tunes?
The "slipping" was stellar!
Pleasantly suprised by "Shaking thru"

The first set was nearly identical to the Baltimore show. Opened with "Only Life" and then did a couple Velvets covers (Who Loves the Sun, There She Goes Again) and then mostly stuff from Time For a Witness and the Good Earth. One or 2 songs from Here Before. Also a cover of Neil Young ("Don't Cry No Tears"). I actually left after the first encore. What were some of the other covers they played? In Baltimore Bill Million pointed to my Stooges shirt before they played "I Wanna Be Your Dog".

This weekend I plan on going to either the DC or the Baltimore stop on the Popnoise Tour (the Veldt (Apollo Heights), Suzy Blu (INSECT GUIDE), and Panophonic).

Ahh fuck. A friend who I blew off last time he played in favor of Waxahatchee is playing the night of the DC show.

I have to say that while hip-hop is hit-or-miss live, the Mykki Blanco set was fantastic. Dope Body and Coup Sauvage were also a ton of fun.
Might go to Velvet tonight but am not feeling 100% up to it. Gametime decision.

It's sold out, so finding people in the crowd will be difficult, but if you see a girl in a ShowlistDC hoodie (black with red lettering), come up and say hi.  I recognize that wearing black doesn't make one particularly easy to spot in a metal crowd, but so be it.
