The Homosexuals' set was phenominal!
 
 M83 were very good, too. And they couldn't have timed the ending of their set more perfectly. Homosexuals were on five minutes after I got to the Velvet.

Calexico last night = amazing! We got "Minas de Cobre" in the encore! Haven't heard that since 2001! New songs sound GREAT, esp. Inspiracion...
 
 Agreed about the Homosexuals set being phenomenal!!!  :p

Brightblack and Fursaxa were both really good but the Talking Head is an awful venue for both.
 Zomes was alright but dragged a little.

Yeah and that show left me slightly underwhelmed, too.
 
 
 They're always so good as an opener though!
 
 
 Maybe it's because they don't play as long and don't overstay their welcome. I dunno.
 
 Wish I could make that Grails show; the recording I have of their Terrastock set is amazing and their new album is one of my favs this year.

The Duke Spirit & Eagles of Death Metal FINALLY!  I still don't know what I'm going to do about my second ticket, my sister is dying to go but has school in the morning and can't stay to see EoDM, and can't find a ride.  I'm in trouble.
 
 and Electric Six on Wednesday @ the Black Cat.  and that's all the shows I have planned for the rest of the year.  SAD.
