Get ready for it -- Adele, tonight (Tuesday). I'm missing out on several shows being held tonight as well, but we got tickets like a year ago, and they are great seats, and I am very excited.
Hey, Bags! I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did. I went Monday night and loved every minute of it. I'd had kind of a crappy day before the show, but that all went away as soon as she took the stage. I was just grinning the whole concert. Cool stage show and lighting with the screens and the "rain." I've been kicking myself for not getting a ticket to her 2011-05-12 show at the 9:30 Club for the last 5+ years, so I wasn't going to miss this one. This was the most pseudo-intimate arena concert I've ever attended. It almost sounded like a club show, and Adele seemed to connect with every section of the Verizon Center. Really impressed with her stage presence.
