HFStival.com was just standing up for principle! If you get information from a website, you have to ask that site for premission and then cite that site saying that you got the information from there...it's like writing a paper for college, you can't just quote something and not cite who you're quoting.

most of the people getting email have nothing to do with posting news on the site, in fact, most of the people getting email wouldn't even consider attending the hfstival

Who would have guessed that any member of hfstival.com actually went to college?

Bulletin board chatter is copywritten material?  Fascinating.  Read through the threads on HFStival.  This is pure childishness.  The entire attitude is...laughable, really.  Except for some pretty threatening sounding language:

That board is asking for it.  I suggest unleashing a virus.

If you care so much about copyright law, rather than break the law yourself by attempting a Denial of Service attack, why don't you try the legal way and file a cease and desist with Bigyawn?

I particularly enjoyed the email I received from nofx420fugazi (if this name doesn't make you piss yourself, then I don't know what would...) with the subject "FAGGOT."  The email said something along the lines of, "Expect a flood of email."  Surely, this is a young man who listens to what his bands have to say.

Whoa there, Bags...plenty of three and four syllable words in that post...you might want to tone it down a bit for any friendly lurkers from hfstival.com

On the big yawn home page there is information regarding this years HFStival that was clearly taken directly from HFStival.com and according to the No Electronic Theft Act, it is illegal to take any information from another website and post it as your own.

Never been to the HFS site, but I'm guessing you are 100% wrong about this.
