Panic on the streets of London ...
« on: July 07, 2005, 12:32:00 pm »
Panic on the streets of London
Panic on the streets of Birmingham
 I wonder to myself
Could life ever be sane again ?
The Leeds side-streets that you slip down
 I wonder to myself
Hopes may rise on the Grasmere
But Honey Pie, you're not safe here
 So you run down
To the safety of the town
But there's Panic on the streets of Carlisle
 Dublin, Dundee, Humberside
 I wonder to myself

It's really awful.  And the prob with the Smiths song is it starts a sunny melody in my head during an intense and worrisome day.  I double-checked my 'emergency bag' this morning.  I drank the water...

So, anyone think this was G8 motivated, or Olympic announcement, or just when the terrorists got their shit together?

Actually it's Durbin (not Dublin). Sad thing is I was listening to this song yesterday.

Look, this thread is not the place to fight over lyrics but it is Dublin, Dundee, Humberside.

Where the F@#$ is Durbin? Are you mental?

Maybe he was referring to Minority Whip Dick Durbin.

Not that I want to impress the board myself, just out of curiosity, do you use econometrics at work?
