Blue Peter
« on: April 14, 2004, 12:54:00 pm »
no, its nothing rude, and only the Brits will know what I'm talking about but apparently  Caron Keating, former Blue Peter presenter died yesterday. She started just as I was growing out of the show, but sad all the same. It was also still quite a novelty to hear an Irish accent on BBC at that time.

God how I loved Blue Peter - Simon Groom was my hero.

I came from the John Noakes and Peter Purvis generation....you know, "Get down Shep"!

Don't know this lady but very sad news. I actually had a Blue Peter badge, the real thing. I wore it all during my Falklands Islands tour, which gave the lads a laugh.

When you were growing out of Blur Peter...... didnt you find yourself thinking that you would like to shag her? Or was that just me?

Blur Peter!! What's that some grossly over-rated London show with pretentious little wanks for presenters?

I wanted to shag the one from Magpie.

I had a G/F who had 3 blue peter badges..... She always sent in art-work to the competitions. I think my wife best described a photo of her as "bookish".

I got mine the night before we left for the Falklands.....I shagged a local lass and she gave me her Blue Peter badge the next morning as I was leaving her house. I must've done a good job.
