New Releases 4/10
« on: April 10, 2007, 09:04:00 am »
What are buying/downloading today?

I already downloaded the new Rosebuds and the new Nick Cave project, Grinderman.

Might also get the new Blonde Redhead and new Bright Eyes (both 7.99 each at Best Buy!)

I'm afraid i may have to but another pair of eyeglasses, after leaving a pair behind somewhere on my trip.

Anybody have any suggestions where i can get a hip pair of designer frames in DC these days? Although I'm a cheapskate on a number of things, I'm willing to shell out bucks for the right pair.

As far as music, I'm waiting until next week to see what the new Joseph Arthur sounds like.

Willamette Week did a Q&A with Greg Glover about a week ago about the compilation put out on his label (Arena Rock). He's also a DJ at the local alt-rock station and has a great show called "The Bottom Forty," where he plays music that probably wouldn't be on most terrestrial radio stations these days.
