Hope he's ok. 
appears some of the worst damage was due to tornados...and those didn't happen in the tampa area
the 4 deaths were in Ft. Peirce which is on the east coast about 100 miles north of West Palm Beach?

i haven't gotten a personal update yet, but my dad did post a "marked safe from hurricane milton" thingy on FB so he made it through.  praise be!
