Not mind blowing... Much like Laurie Anderson it was an evening of experimental composition and video with a sense of fun and not to much pretension. It was also the first time I've heard a Nick Drake cover, "The Cello Song", which was very fitting for the Books to do....
The most intriguing Todd Reynolds piece was his soundtrack to a Bill Morrison short commissioned by MOMA called Outerborough. Where Morrison took film footage of a 1899 subway train from and through the use of looping created interesting visuals.
