How do you feel about micro-loans and micro-enterprise as a tool to end world poverty?

In the middle of a brain melting metal set, do you feel the urge to play Mancini's Baby Elephant Walk?

They don't really amount to much if the local distributors/commissioners of the loans etc are up to their tits in graft.

Two trains leave at the same time but from different cities. One train is traveling west at 120 mph while the other is traveling east at 100 mph.

Assuming the trains are traveling on opposite but parallel tracks, and the two cities from which they leave are 440 miles apart, how long will it take before they meet?
