the tower records aftermath....one month later

now that theyve been out of business for a month now...did anyone have some good finds?  horrible ones?  i got about 50, and have probably listened to 25 or so.
 
 here are a few that i liked:
 serena-maneesh- s/t
 the stands- horsefabulous
 husky rescue- country falls
 annie- anniemal (could be one of my favorite lite/dance-pop albums...kylie-esque)
 booka shade- movements
 
 disappointments:
 the knife- silent shout (couple of good tunes, some sick beats, but the vocals are too whack for me)
 manta- classic battles (hands down the worst album ive ever listened to in my life)
 boykillboy- civilian (horrible)
 sugababes- taller in more ways (push the button is good, as well as the second song, but poor mix, and dumb ballads kill it)

Of the albums that I paid 25 cents for, I've got about 29 in the keep pile and 32 in the sell pile, with one more album to listen to.
 
 For the albums I paid more than 25 cents for, the good:bad ratio is much improved.
 
 Maybe I'll type out some of the specifics when my wife is at yoga class or something. Too much to type on work time!
