Wolf Trap shows
« on: April 16, 2004, 12:47:00 pm »
Not sure what it will be like, but I'm considering heading out there tomorrow to pick up some tickets sans service charges.  Has anyone done this before?

Also, though I'm not talking about ticket brokering here, I'm willing to pick up a ticket or two for folks.  Are there limits?  (I couldn't find any online.)

What are you going to see? O.A.R? Kingston trio? Huey Lewis?

Its music, but not as I know it.

what do you need to know?

pretty much the box office is at the top of the hill.  two weeks ago when they had their first onsale there were people in line at 4am...they had krispie kremes and coffee for everyone in line.

don't know if they're having that this weekend, but tix go on sale at noon, i'd say be there at noon or before..the line can get long.

Oh you know as well as I do you'd be first in line if Val Doonican was performing there!

I'm looking at lawn tix for B-52s and seats for the Ben Folds/Guster/Rufus Wainwright show.  Mock me, I don't care.  I LOVE Wolftrap as a venue, and alas I'll be out of town for the Lyle Lovett show.
