"Renegade" and "Blue Collar Man" by Styx are guilty pleasures. "lady", or any other Styx song that Dennis DeYoung sang lead on, is beyond bad.

Just got the  Freaks and Geeks DVD box. The first ep, "Pilot," uses "Come Sail Away" in a way that is nothing short of brilliant. For those unfamiliar with the tune it presents a very funny (and painful) plot twist and for the rest of us gasp-inducing foreshadowing. Even the sappy lyrics just before the twist are perfectly poignant.

The ep also has a few lines of "Renegade."

I heard yet another version of Girl From Ipanema the other day.  This one was downtempo.

KC and the Sunshine Band?

According to Rob Gee, a better band than the Clash and the Pogues, combined.
