 ooooh, i would like to see padres v. a's, but then that would put me in an existential crisis that i don't know how to cope with.

If they wear the 84 jersey's even once in the playoffs, I will pull my support for Skip Leyland and Andy Van Slyke, and root for the Pads.
 
 As for an A's-Padre's series - even as your friend, I don't know that I'm ready for that.

I want the Yankees vs. the Dodgers in the World Series, with the Yanks coming out on top. I still haven't gotten over the '81 series.

Somebody please help me with this question.  I've searched every web site and can't figure out who the Red Sox are playing in the first round.  If anyone knows who they play and when their first game is, I would be most appreciative.
